Our studio looks out, as well as in. We create architecture and interiors, the products and furniture that populate them, and the landscapes that connect to everything around us.
We examine the relationships between people and the objects and spaces they use, together with consideration of the bigger challenges facing society and the environment. We think about how people are living in the world today, and how we can design for a better balance of requirements with resource. Our approach is to understand the objectives from different perspectives. We are a small team, collaborating with an established network of specialist manufacturers, contractors and consultants to deliver tailored expertise. Our client base extends from the land-owner and commercial developer, to the individual home-dweller.
The studio values are rooted in a quality of experience, shaped by the importance of beauty and pleasure in the everyday as much as ethical responsibility and efficiencies of design. We believe that these values, in combination, address both our individual and ecological health and well-being in the broadest sense. Outpost is designing for all living.
