District. Architects
Founded in South East London in 2016, District. Architects established itself as a studio specialising in design led private/commercial residential projects.
Our Directors, Michael and Alexandra Rees came together with the purpose to create homes that answer the needs and hopes of our clients and deliver something beyond their expectations. Our ethos is that considered architecture and good design are integral to every project whatever the scale or budget.
Collaboration is at the heart of our practice. District. work closely with clients and consultants creating tailored solutions, using the challenges of each individual scheme to elevate a space from the ordinary to the exceptional.
From bespoke family homes to larger housing developments, we have guided our clients through all aspects of the process as it presents itself, be it listed building applications, conservation and heritage considerations, sustainability, or accessible cost-effective solutions.
Taking our designs from the studio through to realisation we have brought together some of our most talented craftspeople, contractors, and decorators and launched District. Build in 2022. This enabled us to retain ultimate creative control of all elements of the project from conception, execution through to delivery.
